My passion: Learning & Development in an Intercultural Context

Key words: Learning, development, business, international, training, intercultural, effectiveness, internationalization.

I’ve specialized in helping individuals become more effective and adding value to companies in international environments since 1984. I’m a learning consultant and trainer, born and raised in Los Angeles (US), and have lived and worked in Europe for over 20 years. I have extensive experience in management in commercial finance environments, plus marketing and business development skills and experience.

For the past 15 years I have focused on the development of people and businesses within the larger societal context. My experience in the Netherlands includes companies such as IKEA, Dutch Railways (NS), DSM and G4S. Also leadership institutes De Baak Management Center VNO-NCW; TSM Business School at the University of Twente, Enschede; and the Royal Tropical Institute, Amsterdam. In addition to my native English I am fluent in Dutch, and have a working knowledge of Spanish and German.

I’ve also successfully developed international markets and products for the following agencies: Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency, Regional Development Agency East Netherlands, Outdoor Europe BV, Business House International. Our clients were established MNCs who were developing new markets, including Starbucks, Nike, Cannondale and Timberland.
